Lifeline 28

Been on a bit of a roll this week, Funny how sometime inspiration flows in torrents. Got loads of fine music lined up and after the success of last week’s guest, we have some other great guests in the pipeline.

Genres, what are genres? The reason why I am doing these shows is; most other radio shows/Podcasts are either this or that, funk or soul, punk or house. We don’t live by rules. So, here is another selection of music that floats my boat.

As always, enjoy with love. Rosspunk  XXXX

The 27 Club is list of musicians that died aged 27. The list includes, Jimi Hendrix, Brian Jones, Jim Morison, Kurt Cobain, Robert Johnson…………

Some superstitious people, who are very familiar with the phenomenon, bring up the subject of white lighters when discussing this club.  Apparently, Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix all had a white lighter in their possession when their bodies were found. The lesson to be learnt here is, if you are a musician, don’t carry a white lighter!

I am a poet and I don’t even know it.

I put together a show originally based on the letter ‘I’ (I wanna be your dog, I Travel, etc.) but after speaking to the slippery one I felt like it was an easy option. It was a case of doing the ‘sort’ option in iTunes.

Well, I scrapped the easy way and did this from scratch. No way are we going to take short cuts.

So, here from the heart is a mixture of music I love!

From France to Spain, from Paris to Santiago. This is a selection of music that entered my consciousness.

From heard to imagined. A soundtrack to travelling.

Flea markets brimming with vinyl, empty forests where the only sound is nature and footfalls on the way.

It’s no place to see a dinosaur in dawns early light. Strike out and lets face the unknown together.
